I wanted to write a piano wizard review because not very often you come across a music learning program that is both really educational and fun. If you have children, then you know how much they respond to computer games. Unquestionably, they can benefit from this music practice software that provides fun in an interactive gaming environment.

Although as an adult you can also benefit and learn with piano wizard, you’ll discover that it’s ideal for children ages 4 to 13. You can choose from three products available: Easy Mode, Premier and Academy. In this piano wizard review we’ll cover the first two, since they are the most popular.

Easy ModeYou get the basic version of their video game which can teach your child how to play piano and read music in minutes. Connect your digital piano keyboard to your PC or Mac, and your child will be a song while enjoying an engaging and fun game. All your child needs is a certain amount of hand/eye coordination and the ability to distinguish colors.

The game’s animated interface provides positive feedback in bright color making it obvious for your child to press the right key at the right time. This learning method includes 100 songs and a built-in curriculum covering the fundamentals of piano playing and music notation.

Premier – You get the complete version of their video game, plus many advanced features that enhance all the fun and learning power of this learning system. It comes with 200 songs and you can expand the game for your child by importing other standard MIDI songs, millions of which are available on the Internet. You place color coded removable keyboard stickers that allow you to customize your keyboard to make it compatible with the color coding in the software screens.

With this patented 4-Step method, your child gets instant gratification while playing his/her favorite songs intuitively. Before you know it, your child will be playing and reading music effortlessly. If you already have an electronic keyboard that can be connected to your computer, you could get by with the Piano Wizard PREMIER and USB/Midi Combo which sells for less.

I learned about this learning program by reading a brief piano wizard review. After some research, I found out that this piano system has received raved reviews and multiple awards. I personally haven’t found one piano wizard review that doesn’t give high marks to this learning video game software.
